Marta Gola (b. 1986, Poland) is an artist based on the Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne, Victoria.

She graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2006 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts - Drawing. Marta continued her studies and pursued a career in Branding Design until 2022, whilst raising a family. During this time she maintained a strong connection with her drawing practice, working primarily on a commission base with work acquired privately.

In the recent two years she has returned to her creative practice full-time, focusing on the development of her studio work with an emphasis on drawing on ceramics. Marta’s studio is located in Master Potter John Stroomer’s Moorooduc Pottery where she has been exploring ceramics in collaboration with and under the mentorship of John.

Most recently, Marta was a Winner of the Sculptural Award (collaborative work with John Stroomer) at the Korowa Ceramic Art Award 2025 and a selected Finalist of The Lester Prize 2025.
